P.M. Narendra Modi said to Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) scientists to not lose faith after Vikram Lander of Chandrayaan-2 failed communication with the ground terminal on the initial hours of Saturday. In his promising approach to the scientists, PM Modi continued that a significant part of the mission has been flourishing and praised the space research team for its efforts but Isro chief K Sivan was inconsolably unsettled.

In reality, K Sivan came tumbling down after the communication and in a video that has gone viral on social media, PM Modi ji was perceived comforting him with a sincere hug. It was a touching moment acknowledging the effort that went back to India’s another lunar mission.

Throughout his speech, PM Modi also stated that the scientists came very nearby to happily fulfill the mission and continued that the most reliable is yet to befall.

The soft-landing of Chandrayaan-2’s landing module, Vikram, did not go as per the design as all spot connection was lost with it just flashes before the programmed landing.

Moreover, as the mood at Isro’s system turned gloomy, PM Modi said the scientists that the whole nation is proud of their accomplishments and there is no need to feel disheartened.

PM Modi also highlighted how Isro has touched new rises through its participation and is currently one of the top space research institutions on the planetoid.

“We will rise to the circumstance and scale newer heights of success. To our scientists I want to say- India is with you! You are outstanding professionals who have made an unbelievable contribution to national progress,” PM Modi spoke.
