USA: 2 individuals lost there live in attack at a texas university hallway
Two civilians were killed and a third person hospitalized in a monday attack in a dorm room at a Texas campus, police stated.
Until the incident in Texas A&M University-Commerce, students and workers were advised to shelter in place as a precaution. The university said it would be Pride Rock residence hall had three gunshot victims, and two individuals were reported missing.
The third individual was transported to the hospital. Classes for the same day were canceled.
Commerce sits some 105 kilometers (65 miles) northeast of Dallas.
A student staying in the Pride Rock residence hall, Larry Cooper III, alerted the Dallas Morning News that he had left his room Monday just before the shelter was revealed. Because he was on the first floor of the residence hall waiting in a friend’s room.
The doorways are blocked by police, but apart from that we are all just sitting in and waiting for the headline story to happen, Cooper replied.
Two civilians were killed in a homecoming and Halloween party that included Texas A&M-Commerce undergraduates last October and a dozen others were injured from an off-campus shoot.
