Update on COVID-19 cases in Kuwait as of April 25
Kuwait MOH confirms 278 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours and 4 new deaths, raising the total number of cases in the country to be 2892.
13 cases are those of related to travel – 10 cases of Kuwaiti nationals related to the travel to the United Kingdom and 3 cases of Kuwaiti nationals related to travel to France.
252 are those of cases in contact – 13 cases of nationals, 109 cases of Indian residents, 31 cases of Bangladeshi residents, 51 cases of Egyptian residents, 11 cases of North Korea residents, 9 cases of Filipino residents, 6 cases of Nepali residents, 6 cases of Pakistani residents. 5 cases of Syrian residents, 3 cases of Iranian residents, 2 cases of each country – Sri Lanka, Lebanese, and Jordan.
One case from each country – Russia and Iraq.
There are presently 25 cases critical and 33 cases stable with 4 deaths of – Kuwaiti national (74 years old), Egyptian resident (45 years old), Bangladeshi resident (64 years old), Indian resident (59 years old)
