On 71st Republic Day, Twitter introduces Tricolor India Gate Emoji
As the country prepares to commemorate the 71st Republic Day, Twitter India has introduced a new emoji, named the Tricolor India Door, to mark this historic moment.
The designed specifically emoji shows the India Gate illuminated in Tricolor, paying respect to the Republic Day Parade’s grand occasion in the capital of the country; New Delhi.
Also, the office of India’s President Ramnath Kovind @rashtrapatibhvn will also be promoting the emoji on January 25, 2020, throughout his national address.

The emoji will be available in English and ten Indian languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Urdu and Gurmukhi, until 30 January 2020 for twitter users.
Therefore, from January 25 onwards, as Indians around the globe post about the 71st Republic Day, they’ll be celebrating with the emoji. The hashtags # RepublicDay, # RepublicDayIndia and # RDay71 can be used to get emoji.
Just like the other dialects such as Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Urdu and Gurmukhi, the hashtags mentioned below must be used according to Twitter India:
PM Narendra Modi currently addressed cadets from the NCC (National Cadet Corps) and NSS (National Service Scheme) in New Delhi in his pre-Republic Day speech. He spoke about the concept behind the Republic Day parade in his address stating, “[As we push toward a new India] we have to make sure that no one, no place, is left behind.”
This year, as the special speaker, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro would address the celebration on Republic Day.
