Not to trust on any calls, Indian Embassy warns everyone
Indian Embassy in Kuwait urges the association members about crooked calls pretending as Embassy executives. In a press statement, Indian Embassy told that corrupt people are calling Indian nationals in Kuwait, pretending as Embassy leaders, with a way to extorting money.
“It has been brought to the attention of the Embassy of India that unscrupulous individuals are telephoning Indian nationals, posing as Embassy officials, with a view to extorting money. These individuals may also sometimes present some personal specifications to make their claims sound convincing,” stated in the press announcement.
“All Indian inhabitants in Kuwait are hereby informed that the Embassy of India never asks for any such payments/money transfers, nor for your bank details, nor for money transfers through telephone calls or throughout unauthorized means, nor will ask for your banking credentials/credit card details, etc”, embassy explained.
The embassy also told that secured processes and systems are in position for many services rendered by the Embassy, which are clearly laid out on the Embassy’s approved website (http://www.indembkwt.gov.in/).
Embassy appeals the Indian nationals to use care and not to fall victim to any fraudulent endeavors.
