New penalties against violators of communicable diseases in Kuwait 

New penalties against violators of communicable diseases in Kuwait, The government has introduced a new penalty against any person who knows he is infected with a communicable disease and deliberately transmits the diseases to another person.

They also approved amendments of Article 15 of the same law to increase fines and prison sentence against anyone violating pandemic-related measures.

Three Months in prison and/or KD 5,000 fine:

Violations of law or executive provisions punishable by up to three months in prison and a fine of KD 5,000 maximum, or one of the penalties.

Six Months in prison and/or KD 10,000 fine:

Violations of decision and measure in Article 15 of the law, punishable by up to six months in prison and a maximum fine of KD 10,000, or one of the penalties.

10 Years in prison and/or KD 30,000 fine:

Any person with knowledge of being infected with communicable diseases and deliberately transmits the diseases to another person, punished by up to 10 years in prison and KD 30,000 fine maximum, or one of the penalties.
