Kuwaiti citizen caught for growing marijuana at home
A Kuwaiti citizen was arrested for cultivating marijuana in his house in Adan area. In a press statement issued by Ministry of Interior, the General Department of Public Relations and Security Media explained that the International Drugs Control Department received information about cultivation of marijuana in a house in Adan area. Immediately, a team from the Drugs Control General Department placed the Kuwaiti owner of the house under surveillance. After confirming the information and obtaining necessary legal authorization, the team raided the house and confiscated marijuana plants. They also confiscated 10 grams of cannabis and a psychoactive narcotic substance. The citizen was arrested and referred with the confiscated items to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.
