Kuwait will take legal actions against Coronavirus rumor mongers
The Ministries of Interior and Information revealed that lawsuits have been filed against individuals who have passed on false claims about the virus.
Deputy, Prime Minister of Interior and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Anas Al-Saleh, said “We will not tolerate those who spread rumors and they will be held accountable”
Ministry will track all those who spread rumors and indeed the ministries of interior and information filed law suits against persons behind rumors,” he said. “Rumor is undermining health security and causes panic among public.”
Kuwait’s confirmed cases has reached 80 with the country halting all flights to and from the country, suspending all work in government and private sectors until March 29
