Kuwait MoI To Stricten Measures To Avoid Repetition Of Mahboula Chaos
Total chaos created by hundreds of expatriates in Mahboula area rushing towards the food aid vehicle. No precautionary measures was followed as given by Ministry of Health and World Health Organization.
The Ministry of Interior dealt with the situation in the area and rushed to break up the gathering and stop the chaos that a food aid car caused as one of the donors started distribution of aid without coordinating with security officials and the concerned authorities.
The Ministry of Interior will tighten the procedures, especially control over charity vehicles, To avoid repetition of chaos incident.
All charitable organizations or donors to need to coordinate well in advance with the security officials before any distribution of aid to prevent chaos.
Ministry of Interior is working to control the field in the various areas where there were gatherings.
Strict regulation is imposed in accordance with the requirements, whether there is distribution food or any donations offered.
Kuwait government on Monday decided to extend partial curfew for 16 hours during Ramadan and the national holiday up until May 28, while assigning the ministries of interior and information to name and shame those violating home quarantine and curfew.
