Kuwait: Six-month jail and KD 10,000 fine for violating health instructions
The Ministry of Interior announced that anyone who violates the instructions of the health authorities regarding the prevention of communicable diseases will be punished with imprisonment for a period not exceeding six months and/or a fine not exceeding ten thousand dinars.
Ministry of Interior informed that as per the provisions of Law No. 8/1968, anyone who violates this will be held legally accountable.
Authorities appealed to all citizens and residents to abide by the decision and to stop all kinds of gatherings, including those celebrating national holidays and holding parties, whether they are held in a public or private place, including private houses and diwaniyas.
