Kuwait: Shops in private residential areas should close at 12 midnight
Kuwait Municipality issued an administrative decision to specify the working hours of shops located in private residential areas in various governorates. As per the decision, the maximum opening hours for shops is 12 o’clock midnight.
This decision is applied to all shops in private residential areas, except for the affiliated central markets, cooperative societies and pharmacies.
Any exception for some activities, the shop owner must get the approval from Ministry of Interior, it added.
