Kuwait: Restaurants allowed to be open 24 hours
Restaurants are allowed to open 24 hours as per a decision by the Council of Ministers to restore work in all activities, Director General of the Municipality Eng. Ahmed Al-Manfouhi informed.
The opening hours for restaurants were set to that of before the Corona pandemic. All restaurant can open 24 hours. However, the shops in private residential areas must close at twelve o’clock at midnight. “Shisha” is still not allowed to be served in cafes for customers.
A draft law has been submitted to the Council of Ministers to set some direct penalties for not wearing masks. However, sources say these establishments will have to adhere to rules and regulations put in place by the government and the health authorities from time to time.
