Kuwait reports 692 new coronavirus cases, 640 recoveries on Wednesday
Kuwait on Wednesday, reported 692 new coronavirus cases in 24 hours, taking to 22,692 its infection tally, the Health Ministry said.
The Health Ministry also reported 3 more deaths from COVID-19, taking to 175 the total such fatalities in Kuwait.
Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior said on 26th May, 19 people violated the curfew law. From these 13 were Kuwaiti’s and 6 were expats. Cases have been filed and legal action has been taken against them.
#Kuwait Ministry of Health announced today, Wednesday, that 640 cases recovered from of those infected with coronavirus (Covid 19), bringing the number of cases that recovered 7946 cases.
Health Ministry said radiology tests have proven that these cases have healed from the Corona virus and will be transferred to the rehabilitation wing of the hospital.
Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Anas Al-Saleh decided today not to extend the total curfew when it expires on May 30, there will be no extension of the full lockdown.

Kuwaiti authorities enforced the full curfew from May 10 to 30 as part of precautionary measures to curb the spread of the coronavirus pandemic in the country following a rise in the daily reported infections.
Kuwait said that there will be a gradual opening keeping in view of precautionary measures after the period of a total lockdown.
