Kuwait: Passengers arriving from EU or UK to take PCR test
Kuwait’s Ministry of Health announced that all passengers, citizens and expats, that arrived from the European Union (EU) or the United Kingdom (UK) between December 11 and December 21 are required to conduct a PCR test.
The PCR rests will be done at Al Jaber Hospital between 8:00am and 8:00pm.
Earlier, Kuwait announced that it will close its airport, land and sea borders starting 11:00pm on Monday December 21 until January 1.
The Ministry of Interior announced that only Saudi national will be able to leave Kuwait via the border crossing, Al Jarida reported. On Sunday, Kuwait issued a travel ban on all passengers coming from the UK. The ban came after the British government announced that a new strain of COVID-19 virus has been detected and has been found to spread faster than the existing virus.
