Thirteen expatriates threatened to commit suicide from top of a building in Salmiya after being denied their financial dues by the contracting company. All of them were brought under control by security forces.

Sources said all the 13 expats are of the same nationality and had entered the country on commercial visit visas for a contracting company.

Sources reported that instructions were given to deport them from the country after clearing all their pending dues and blocking them from reentering the country. Legal measures are also taken against the company that hired them.
