Kuwait: DGCA proposes to reduce quarantine period to 7 days
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation known as on to reduce the quarantine in Kuwait for all arrivals to 7 days as a substitute of 14 days which is at present applied.
In a letter addressed to the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Kuwait International Airport restarting committee propose to reduce the quarantine in Kuwait for arrivals to 7 days instead of 14 days that is currently applied with Maintaining health requirements. All arrival passengers must carry a PCR negative certificate.
Previously, The Directorate General of Civil Aviation announced that, based on the updates of the health authorities, passengers arriving at Kuwait International Airport who are under the age of 6 years are exempted from the PCR examination for COVID-19.
Adult passengers should carry PCR test for COVID-19 proving that they are free from corona virus, the certificate should not exceed 72 hours between the test date and arriving date to Kuwait.
