Increase in the number of registration reported for taking Pfizer vaccine against the Corona virus in the country. According to reports, the total number of people who registered to book an appointment in advance reached 95.5 thousand citizens and residents yesterday noon and is likely to exceed 100,000 early next week.

Kuwait has officially begun the vaccination campaign on Thursday by giving the first dose of vaccine to Prime Minister His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al – Khaled. Several ministers, government officials took the vaccination on Thursday. No unexpected side effects have been reported so far on those who received the first dose of the vaccination, sources said.

Actual vaccination work for the public begins next Sunday, with priority given to medical personnel.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Health Dr Basil Al Sabah stressed the need to vaccinate the largest number of people, to obtain community immunity. He called on all citizens and residents to take the vaccinations.
