Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education Dr. Ali Al-Mudhaf on Wednesday issued a Ministerial Resolution stipulating the continuation of studies via the internet at all levels for the scholastic year’s second semester (2020-2021).
The ministry said in a press statement that the decision would be revised according to health conditions in the country.
The ministry coordinates with the Ministry of Health (MoH) via a joint committee.
The decision is applicable on public schools, religious educational institutes, teaching centers for the elderly and private schools.
Kuwait is adhering to internationally-accredited precautions against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), holding teaching classes online and barring gatherings and violations of standard protocols against the communicable disease.
