Kuwait Coronavirus: 168 New Cases reported, Total 2248
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health on Wednesday reported 168 new coronavirus (COVID-19) infections and 2 more death in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of infections to 2248.
The death cases reached 13 after confirming the death of a 75 year old Indian resident and another 57 year old Indian.
Today’s reported case includes 15 Kuwaiti national, 80 Indian, 10 Bangladeshi, 21 Egyptian, 7 Pakistani, 5 Nepali, 3 Philippine, 2 Sri Lankan, 2 Jordanian and 4 Syrian resident.
Kuwait Health ministry, on Wednesday, announced the recovery of 31 patients from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), raising Kuwait’s total recoveries to 443.
Kuwait government on Monday decided to extend partial curfew for 16 hours during Ramadan and the national holiday up until May 28, while assigning the ministries of interior and information to name and shame those violating home quarantine and curfew.
