Kuwait confirms 80 new cases of coronavirus, Total 1995
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health on Monday, reported 80 new coronavirus (COVID-19) infections in the last 24 hours, bringing the total of infections to 1,995 cases in Kuwait.
Today’s cases include 7 Kuwaiti national, 47 Indian, 3 Bangladeshi, 6 Egyptian, 3 Nepali, 3 Pakistani, 2 Philippine, 1 Spanish, 1 Portuguese, 1 Moroccan and 2 Syrian resident.
Coronavirus Death Cases in Kuwait: 9 after confirming the death of an Indian resident 55 years old and a 49 year old Bangladeshi.
Those currently receiving treatment at hospitals has reached 1,619 patients.
Kuwait Health ministry, earlier, announced the recovery of 62 patients from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), raising Kuwait’s total recoveries to 367.
Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Anas Al-Saleh, takes decision to covers those whose residency or visit visas expired between March 1 and May 31.
Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) has launched the Kuwait Mobile ID app that allows citizens and expats in Kuwait a digital representation of their Civil ID.
Kuwait Ministry of Commerce and Industry launched an online appointment platform service for citizens and residents to book a shopping appointment during the curfew hours.
Globally, there have been more than 2.4 million confirmed cases of coronavirus, including more than 165,300 deaths.
