Kuwait confirms 75 new cases of coronavirus, Total 417

Kuwait’s health ministry on Thursday announced 75 new coronavirus cases, bringing to 417 the total number of infections reported over the last 24 hours in the country.

7 Cases related to travel which includes 6 Citizens and 1 Iraqi resident.

36 Cases are for those in contact with confirmed cases.

This include 4 Citizens

26 Indian

3 Bangladeshi and 3 Egyptian residents

32 Cases are under investigation about the source of infection:

2 Citizens

16 Indian

7 Bangladeshi

5 Egyptian and one Filipino and Nepali resident.

Meanwhile, Kuwaiti Minister of Health Bassel Al-Sabah announced the recovery of one more patient from the coronavirus, raising the number of the cured in the country to 82.

Kuwait has imposed strict measures to curb the coronavirus outbreak, which include implementing an 11-hour nationwide curfew and halting all international flights.

Coronavirus numbers worldwide more than 1,018,948 people have contracted the virus and at least 53,211 have died.
