Kuwait: All Visit Visa Expired To Be Renewed Until August 31st
Kuwait Ministry of Interior said that it will automatically renew all kinds of visit visas, which are expired, until August 31, 2020. They will be given a temporary residency (Article 14) by the system automatically.
Kuwait authorities have made an additional extension as the government offices are still closed in the country and International flight service are yet to normalize.
Meanwhile, The Kuwait cooperative societies working hours will be from 8:00 am to 12:00 AM during the partial curfew, Chairperson of the Union of Consumer Cooperative Societies Fahad Al-Enezi said.
The step is part of a slew of measures to ease coronavirus-related restrictions. As per the new measures, mosques will reopen from Sunday in accordance with heath guidelines and preventive measures. On Saturday, Kuwait reported 1008 new coronavirus cases in 24 hours, taking to 26192 its infection tally, the Health Ministry said. The Health Ministry also reported 10 more deaths from COVID-19, taking to 205 the total such fatalities in Kuwait. There is a total of 15,831 active cases currently in Kuwait. 206 patients currently in intensive care unit.
