Kuwait: Administrative Resolution on 60+ residency issued by PAM
The Public Authority for Manpower issued Administrative Resolution No. 34 of 2022 amending Article 37 of Administrative Resolution No. 27 of 2021 regarding the issuance of a list of rules and procedures for granting work permits

According to No. 34 of 2022, it is allowed to renew or transfer work permits within the private sector for a period of one year for expatriate workers who have reached the age of 60 years and above and who hold a high school certificate or less in accordance with the decisions in force with the authority, and in accordance with the following conditions:
1- Payment of a fee of 250 Kuwaiti dinars.
2 – The worker must be insured with a comprehensive, irrevocable health insurance policy from one of the insurance companies listed in the stock market.
Article 2 of the resolution says that the following categories – Husbands and children of Kuwaiti women and wive of Kuwaiti-Palestinians who are document holders – are excluded from the conditions set forth in Article 1.
Article 3 of the resolution says that this decision shall be effective from the date of its issuance and for a period of one year.
