Kuwait: 2,000 bottles of perfume seized on counterfeit products
Kuwaiti trade authorities seized 2,000 bottles of perfume copiers as part of a crackdown on counterfeit products south of the capital, Al Anba newspaper reported on Sunday.
The transport was seized inside a warehouse in the Al Farwaniyah area, linked to a perfume maker, he added, citing an official statement.
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry said its inspectors seized the fragrances marketed as the original labels. The fake perfumes included imitations of local, regional and international labels, according to the ministry.
The transport was handed over to the relevant agencies to carry out legal proceedings against the suspects.
