January 1st declared as New Years holiday
Kuwait’s Civil Service Commission (CSC) announced on Monday that Sunday January 1st will be a public holiday to mark the start of the new year, citing a cabinet decree.
Normal operations for all state bodies and agencies will resume the following day (Monday) January 2nd, it said in a press statement.
