Janhvi Kapoor revels Khushi Kapoors Plans of entering Bollywood
Janhvi Kapoor confirmed speculation that Khushi Kapoor is interested in a career in the arc lights. On Anaita Shroff Adajania’s chat show, she revealed that her sister will take a course at the New York Film Academy before making her Bollywood debut.
When Anaita said that Khushi is quite the fashionista and has expressed her desire to take the runway by storm, Janhvi interjected, “That’s not where she wants to be anymore.”
“She is going to NYFA. Then after she comes back, she will figure what she wants to do,” the Dhadak actress added.
Boney Kapoor is extremely close to his youngest daughter and will not take the news of her going off to New York to study very well, Janhvi revealed. “I’m getting palpitations just thinking about Khushi going to… He just has to think about it and he’ll start crying,” she said.
Janhvi revealed that while there is no sibling rivalry between her and Khushi, they do fight over clothes. “Only when she steals my clothes, I get pissed. We share our clothes, but we have this thing that if you steal without telling, then it’s a thing,” she said.
“At this point, I don’t care. She still like… She’s very righteous, so she is like, ‘You cannot take something without asking.’ She feels like she needs to inculcate manners in me. So that’s where it’s coming from,” Janhvi added.
Currently, Janhvi is shooting for Kargil Girl, which brings the story of IAF pilot Gunjan Saxena alive on celluloid. Gunjan helped evacuate injured soldiers from Kargil in 1999.
Angad Bedi will be seen as Gunjan’s brother Anshuman Saxena, while Pankaj Tripathi will play their father. Kargil Girl is being helmed by debutant director Sharan Sharma and is being produced by Dharma Productions.
