India’s Richest Man, Mukesh Ambani offers prayers at Badrinath on an auspicious day of Diwali

Chairperson of Reliance Industries and country’s most prolific businessman, Mukesh Ambani, extended prayers on the first day of three-day Diwali celebrations at the famous Badrinath temple in Chamoli region of Uttarakhand on Saturday.

Ambani offered prayers for approximately 15 minutes at one of the most divine Hindu shrines dedicated to Lord Vishnu. This is his second visit to Badrinath this year following the May 25 trip, when he had begged for about 30-minutes and gave Rs 2 crore to the Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) for the improvement of Sandalwood and Saffron—both utilized broadly in prayer rituals.

He had also sensed Kedarnath temple- deemed the abode of Lord Shiva- while his May visit.

Mr. Ambani had inflicted Badrinath last year too, on May 24, simultaneously with son Akash and daughter-in-law Shloka Mehta. He had bestowed over Rs 2 crore to the temple board then.’
