On Wednesday, the nation’s capital experienced the coldest morning of the period, with temperatures at 7 degrees Celsius, well below the normal of the transfer window, the weather office reported.
That was after a high temperature of 12.9 degrees Celsius was reported in Delhi on Tuesday, which was the lowest in December during the last 16 years.
The Indian Meteorological Department said the other day will stay cold and get a severe cold. “It’s going to be a cool day in the region with a partly cloudy sky,” said the Met spokesperson.
The highest temperature was expected to be around 17 degrees Celsius, the spokesman added.
Not only Delhi, but nearby Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, and Gurugram were still under the grasp of frozen fire.
