India: Silver rates plunge Rs 700, Gold drips Rs 128
As per the HDFC Securities, gold slipped Rs 128 to Rs 41,148 per 10 grams on Wednesday in the national capital amidst global yellow metal values.
“Location 24 karat gold in Delhi fell by Rs 128 with global gold prices falling,” replied HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel.
The yellow metal had ended in the previous exchange at Rs 41.276 per 10 grams.
The silver costs also decreased from Rs 47.060 per kg on Tuesday by Rs 700 to Rs 46.360 per kg.
All gold and silver were priced higher on the world market, at $1,562.5 an ounce and $17.51 per pound separately.
“Price of gold has been falling with high stock indices,” said Tapan Patel.
