India: Fire bursts out at hotel basement in Delhi
On Saturday afternoon a fire broke out in the basement of ‘The Park hotel in Lutyens ‘ Capital, a representative confirmed.
At 12.25 pm, the fire brigade received a phone call over the flames, after which five fire tenders were dispatched to the location, the official added, emphasizing that the fire was kept under control.
Later in Mumbai, six men, include two girls, sustained burn injuries due to contamination in a fuel oil cylinder here when a fight broke out in a ‘ chawl ‘ space, a civic officer confirmed.
The attack took place at about 6.15 pm at Ambedkar Nagar in Bandra (East).
“The fire broke out in a flat of Sai Ekta Chawl of Ambedkar Nagar due to leakage of gas from a domestic cylinder,” an official had said.
