India: Cellphones use are prohibited in UP universities & colleges
Use of mobile phones in academies, colleges in Uttar Pradesh has been outlawed by the state’s Directorate of Higher Education.
This movement by the Directorate of Higher Education is intended at preventing learners from becoming diverted from their studies.
In the latest circular circulated by the Directorate of Higher Education in Uttar Pradesh, it considers the blanket ban on the use of mobile phones inside academies, colleges.
Following this growth, students will no longer be permitted to take, use mobile phones inside universities, institutes. The prohibition is also appropriate to teachers crosswise all universities, institutes in the state.
Throughout this transit, the Directorate of Higher Education aspires students to concentrate on education rather than wasting time on their phones.
Earlier, mobile phone use was halted by UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during his formal meetings, including cabinet associates.
“The Chief Minister wants all ministers should concentrate on problems that are discussed in the cabinet meetings. They should not get distracted by their mobile phones. Some ministers have been busy reading messages on WhatsApp during the meeting,” a state from UP bureau had recorded.
