India: BHEL female officer commits suicide, blames co-workers of ‘harassment’
A 33-year-old lady employee operating with a foremost Public Sector Unit (PSU) has supposedly committed self-destruction over “mental harassment” by her senior and co-workers, policemen stated.
As per Miyapur Police, departed Neha was working in the reports section in Bharath Heavy Electronics Limited (BHEL) and had perpetrated suicide by killing herself in her residence on Thursday.
Policemen have seized a suicide note in which the dead has stated about the alleged harassment.
“Neha has said in the suicide note that she took final step after she was fed with harassment by one of her senior officials and six other colleagues”, executives stated.
The deceased’s body has been moved to a regional authority hospital for the Post Mortem Examination (PME).
On the accusation from the deceased’s spouse, a case of abetment of suicide has been recorded against seven officials and further investigation is continuing.
