India: 12 wounded after bridge collapses near Junagadh Gujrat
A bridge over a stream in Malanka community on the Manderda Sasan road near Junagadh deflated toppling two cars atop it into the river harming 12 people on Sunday night.
Those in the know stated that the bridge fell due to massive rains in the region. Of the 12 injured, four sustained severe bruises and were hurried to the nearby hospital where they are announced to be out of danger. The balance escaped with minor injuries.
The state government has meanwhile re-routed movement from the region with massive vehicles being redirected to Ajab through Madiya while small ones have been conducted to take the Modarda Amrapur range.
Saurabh Pardhi, authority Junagadh stated that what caused the bridge to fall is a subject of research. “Four people were shifted to the hospital who is now permanent. The link was around 3 decades old and it is too quick to say what lead to the collapse,” stated Pardhi.
Experts said that locals hurried to help the injured and the 108 hurried them to the nearby hospital. The four who had to be admitted were recognized as Anil Vallabhbhai, 40, Bhavika Anilbhai, 38, Darshan Anilbhai 13 and Osman Baloch, 52.
Baloch is a citizen of Sasan while the other three who belong to the corresponding family are from Amrutvel.
