According to its report, the plan will be divided into three categories. The first category of people includes the workers in the private sector and family residency permit holders, who form the largest segment. For this category, the health service will be through ‘Daman Hospitals’ using health insurance, which may cost up to 130 dinars per year. These fees cover patients’ examinations, x-rays and treatment.

The second category is the expatriates working in the government sector, who receive treatment in government clinics and hospitals. The insurance will be covered by the government agencies where they work.

The third category is that of visitors and a separate health insurance plan will be approved for them, the report said.

The report also added that the domestic workers will continue to receive service in government facilities under the existing insurance package or with a slight increase.
