Filipina Domestic Loses Life In Kuwait Following Alleged Bad Treatment Of Employer, Cucumber Was Also Found Inside Her Private Part

An Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) passed away after suffering bad treatment of employer.

According to Radyo Inquirer, a 47-year-old domestic helper suffered so much from her employer causing her to lose her life.

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) identifies the domestic helper as Constancia Lago Dayag from Agadanan, Isabel. The initial investigation states that Dayag was brought to Al Sabbah Hospital but was soon declared dead on arrival.

Reports said that the OFW acquired bruises and wounds all over her body. Additionally, a cucumber was also found stuck in her private part.

Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III wants her employer to face the consequences of her actions towards the poor Filipina. Bello appeals for justice from the government of Kuwait.

The Secretary also appointed the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) as well as Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) to take a closer look into the case of Dayag and her foreign and local agencies that brought her to Kuwait.

Bello sent his condolences to the bereaved family and promised that justice will prevail.

This is the newest case of a Filipina passing away following the case of Joanna Demafelis who suffered an unfortunate loss as she was stuffed inside a freezer in an apartment in Kuwait. The case of Demafelis prompted the Philippine government to ban the deployment of OFW to the Gulf country. It was only raised after a memorandum of understanding was signed by both countries.
