Expats have to visit health centers on arrival to Kuwait
Kuwait’s Ministry of Health has directed all expatriate passengers who have arrived from the following list of quarantine countries to visit their respected area health centers as per guidelines.
Expat must report within 72 hours to health centers to avoid fine and imprisonment.
A health surveillance card will be provided which needs to be completed, below are the following steps to be followed:
Step 1) Health card to be signed and stamped by Medical doctor at Kuwait International Airport.
Step 2) With completion of above, medical center to be visited for further check within 72 hours.
Step 3) Medical center further advises a home quarantine for expats returning from the above mentioned countries.
All arrivals to Kuwait from one of the areas affected by communicable diseases or countries, whose application of control measures is required, must visit one of the health centers mentioned in the Health surveillance list within 72 hours from date of arriving.
While, in the case of departure before the passing of 3 days, the card must be handed over to the health authority in departing borders.
Failing to follow these instructions will be subjected to the provisions of the Amiri Decrees 33/1960 & 8/1969 which states that the violator shall be punished by imprisonment for a period not exceeding one month and a fine not exceeding 50 dinars or one of these two penalties.
