Electricity usage highest in The Kuwait City

According to a study conducted by Bloomberg agency, the annual electricity consumption in each house in Kuwait is estimated to be an average of nearly 40,100KW.

In his latest book “Energy Kingdoms: Oil and Political Survival in the Persian Gulf”, former journalist and a member of Baker Institute for Public Policy affiliated to Rice University Jim Krane explained that Kuwait tops internationally in terms of electricity consumption, followed by Qatar with consumption of nearly 31,800KW, Saudi Arabia with nearly 23,000KW, UAE with 17,6000KW, and then Norway, USA, Canada, Finland, Sweden and Venezuela.
