Covid19 : A more contagious mutation that the Delta variant found in Russia
Russia reported a few Covid19 infections with a new variant that is believed to be even more contagious than the Delta Variant.
State consumer watchdog’s senior researcher Kamil Khafizov, said that it is possible that the AY.4.2 variant will spread widely.
With the death toll from the coronavirus continuing to soar, President Vladimir Putin of Russia announced new restrictions Wednesday, declaring that a seven-day period starting October 30th would be a nonworking week in Russia.
AY.4.2 is being identified in an increasing number of U.K. Covid cases, with some suggesting it could be a factor in the country’s growing health crisis that has prompted some doctors to call for Covid restrictions to be reimposed.
