COVID 19 Kuwait: 242 new cases of the coronavirus, Total 4619
Kuwait City: Kuwait recorded 242 new cases of the novel coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 4619 the Ministry of Health announced on Saturday.
3 deaths was reported as well, bringing the total fatalities’ toll up to 22.
Earlier, Kuwait announced the recovery of 101 new people from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total recoveries to 1,703 in the country.
The Ministry of Health announced about drive-through coronavirus testing centers soon in Kuwait.
The number of daily confirmed cases in the country has not peaked in Kuwait yet, and will continue to rise, according to data collected by John Hopkins University.
The COVID-19 pandemic has rapidly spread to more than 200 countries till date, Globally cases of coronavirus, are more than 3.3 million confirmed, including more than 238,971 deaths.
Kuwait will continue repatriation of its citizens stranded overseas because of the coronavirus pandemic with the fourth phase of evacuations scheduled on April 29 until May 6.
