COVID-19 Kuwait: 11 Deaths and 942 new coronavirus cases recorded

Kuwait on Saturday, confirmed 942 new coronavirus cases in 24 hours, taking to 13,802 its infection tally, the Health Ministry said.

The Health Ministry also reported 11 more deaths from COVID-19, taking to 107 the total such fatalities in Kuwait.

The Ministry of Interior arrested 32 persons who violated curfew on Friday, 15th May. From these 26 were Kuwaiti nationals and 6 were expats.

The #Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced today, that 203 cases of newly infected coronavirus (COVID-19) had been recovered, bringing the number of cases that recovered in the country to 3,843.

Kuwait Municipality has also closed 189 stores in Farwaniya Governorate during the month of April, in violation of precautionary measures to avoid the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).

The Kuwait Municipality (Baladia) has set new timings for grocery stores work timings, according to the administrative decision.

Kuwait has imposed a total curfew in the country till May 30 to help curb the spread of the coronavirus. People in Kuwait have been told to follow curfew restrictions and abide by the health authority instructions.

During the total curfew everyone is permitted to walk in their own residential area without the use of an vehicle from 4:30 to 6:30 pm.

Kuwait said that there will be a gradual opening keeping in view of precautionary measures after the period of a total lockdown.
