Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Kuwait rise to 188
Kuwait reported 12 new COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of the cases in the country to 188, the Health Ministry announced Sunday.
Meanwhile, Health Minister Bassel Al-Sabah said three more COVID-19 patients have recovered, bringing the total number of the cured to 30.
The Kuwaiti government has decided to impose a nationwide curfew would be imposed from 5:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m.
Strict penalties for violators were announced, including up to three years’ imprisonment or a KD 10,000 fine.
On March 13, Kuwait suspended all commercial flights to curb the spread of COVID-19.
Coronavirus numbers worldwide more than 315,992 people have contracted the virus and at least 13,407 have died.
