Commuters from Kuwait detained with gold value 2 crores at Kochin Airport
Two commuters from Kuwait were held with five and a half kilograms of gold worth Rs two crore in a big gold haul at Kochin International Airport in Kerala.
As per the sources, the passengers ‘ check-in luggage concealed the gold in the handle portion of the dumbbells.
The commuters named both originate from Kadappa district in Andhra Pradesh as Deshmukh and Ahmad Sheik. Both landed at Kochin airport from Kuwait, according to customs officials.
