Australia lifts international travel ban for Vaccinated residents
Australia has confirmed it will lift a ban next week that has prevented its own citizens travelling overseas without permission. From 1st November citizens who are fully vaccinated no longer need an exemption to leave the country.
This comes as the country’s adult double-dose vaccination rate edged closer to an 80 percent target and as Singapore said it would allow quarantine-free entry to travellers vaccinated against Covid19 from Australia from November 8th.
Even with the Delta outbreaks, Australia has fared better than many comparable countries, with around 164,000 cases and 1,669 deaths.
