Apple Pay to launch in Kuwait next month
The mobile payment service by Apple Inc. “Apple Pay” which allows users to make payments in person will be launched in Kuwait by next month. Apple has reached an understanding with the Ministry of Finance that allows activating the application of the “Apple Pay” service in Kuwait soon, local Arabic daily Al-Rai reported.
The local banks have already started preparing to launch the service for their customers during next October, the report added.
“Apple Pay” service allows customers to pay via the “iPhone” and the smartwatch, as the application allows making financial payments electronically. Use of this service also facilitates and simplifies financial payments, compared to using a payment card, through various purchase channels. The most prominent feature is the ability to send and receive money through simple messages, and the ability to request a specific value of money from others.
