After UP, Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji: Unsung Warrior proclaimed tax free in Haryana
Since its release on January 10, Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan, and Kajol supporting Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior has declined to slow down the roll in the box office. The film library has only managed to grow bigger as it passes every day as it joins the 100 crore club today.
A few days ago, the film was also proclaimed tax-free by Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath and on Wednesday, through an official announcement, the Haryana government entered the car and announced the state tax-free picture.
In fact, the government of Maharashtra is also keen to make the historical drama tax-free in the province. Congress member and Minister of State Yashomati Thakura also tweeted about the same thing and said that the topic was addressed at the Cabinet meeting and the Chief Minister’s office is likely to make an announcement soon. Recently, BJP MLA Shweta Mahale of the Chikhali Assembly in Maharashtra has called for Tanhaji to be tax-free in the province. She said, “This film tells the story of Tanaji Malusare, a prince of Maharashtran property. When he allows the tax-free, popular and poor people of Maharashtra, he can also see the film in the theaters. He was so courageous that he wanted to go to the Kondhana war first and then to stage his son’s wedding. He conquered the Kondhana, but he was martyred at the end of it.”
After Tanhaji was proclaimed tax-free in UP, expressing his joy, Ajay updated his Twitter page and thanked Yogi Adityanath for it. He posted, “Thank you Shri Yogi Adityanathji for keeping #TanhajiUnsungWarrior Tax-Free in Uttar Pradesh. I would also be happy if you were watching our film @myogiadityanath #TanhajiUnitesIndia.”
