About 18,000 bottles of foreign liquor seized at Shuwaikh port
Customs officials seized two large containers of 20 feet in size, which contain approximately 18,000 bottles of foreign liquor. The containers arrived at Shuwaikh port a neighboring Gulf country.
The liquor bottles were hidden inside huge iron reels. Customs officials hired firefighters, and made great efforts in cutting the iron reels and seizing the liquor bottles.
Following the seizures, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Acting Minister of Interior Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled, and Minister of Commerce and Industry, Minister of Social Affairs and Community Development Fahd Al-Shariaan, visited the customs inspection team and praised their efforts.
