A Student from Utah University vanishes while she takes a Lyft ride
One student of Utah University who missing after arranging a Lyft in Utah. She still remained missing Sunday — almost a week subsequent when she was last seen.
Mackenzie Lueck, 23, was going to Salt Lake City from Los Angeles later ministering a burial last weekend. The Salt Lake City Police Bureau stated that Lueck landed at the airport on June 17 and reserved a Lyft ride-share to a location in North Salt Lake.
Inspectors responded that she was last viewed “in the early morning hours of Monday.”
Her parents said KSTU they last listened from her nearby 1 a.m. on June 17. Lueck’s daddy stated his daughter messages her family and informed them her flight arrived, but haven’t heard from her since.
TouchingThursday, Lueck’s parents reported her missing at the police station.
The administration immediately started investigating her disappearance. The administration announced they’ve held in communication with both Lyft and Lueck’s possible driver.
Lyft announced to Fox News in a declaration on Sunday that they “recognize how horrifying this must be for those who understand and admire Ms. Lueck.”
“The security of our society is necessary to Lyft and we are vigorously supporting law obligation with their examinations,” Lyft responded, joining Lueck’s route from the airport didn’t contain any “unevenness and ended at the purpose as independently accessed by the rider.”
The driver remained to drive for Lyft subsequent Lueck’s journey completed, the organization declared.
Lueck has been outlined as 5 feet 6 inches and weighs approximately 120 pounds. Lueck has brown eyes and blonde hair.
