3 Expats Arrested For Assaulting Police officer in Kuwait
Kuwait City: A group of residency violators protested and assaulted a police officer while he was reading out the names of those who were supposed to be sent back to their country.
Security forces dispersed the protesters and arrested three instigators, according to a statement issued by the Interior Ministry’s General Department of Security Relations and Media in response to social media reports of a riot and an attack on a police officer at an amnesty detention center in Farwaniya.
3 Egyptians from the detention center in Farwaniya have been arrested and referred to concerned authorities.
Meanwhile, 21 people violated curfew law yesterday, From these 18 were Kuwaiti citizens where as 3 were expats. Legal action has been taken against them.
